Frequently asked questions about ABP0635
What is priming and why do you need a separate tank for it?
Priming is adding a precise amount of sugar to the beer before bottling to allow the yeast to create natural carbonation. A separate container allows the sugar solution to be mixed gently and evenly throughout the batch without introducing oxygen, ensuring even carbonation in each bottle.
Why does the tank have an inverter?
The inverter enables smooth speed adjustment from 6-42 rpm. Low speeds prevent oxygen absorption and foam formation during the priming stage, higher speeds are suitable for CIP cleaning or dissolving impurities. The same container is therefore suitable for several production stages.
Is AISI 304 stainless steel food safe?
Yes. AISI 304 is the standard material for the food, beverage and brewing industries. It is corrosion resistant, easy to sanitize and compatible with acids, alkalis and common CIP chemicals used in craft breweries.
What does CE conformity mean for this container?
The CE marking confirms that the tank, motor and electrical components comply with EU machinery safety and electromagnetic compatibility directives. The 220V single-phase motor with Schuko plug connects to any standard European socket.
Can the container be used for other products besides beer?
Yes. Although the tank is optimized for priming, the 200L stainless steel tank with variable mixing speed is also suitable for mixing juices, syrups, cider, kombucha and similar drinks where gentle homogenization is required without oxygen absorption.
