What throughput does the Emro 1.8 reach?
It processes 2000 l/h of liquid and yields about 250 l/h of concentrate, up to 30 Brix. That suits commercial juice operations rather than small batches. For small volumes the 50 l/h Vin Osmo model is more appropriate.
How much storage volume does it save?
By removing pure water it cuts storage volume by 50-80%, depending on the juice. This greatly reduces tank, freezer and transport needs for the concentrate. Apple, black currant, blueberry and grape juice all suit the process.
What power and pressure does it run on?
It draws 9,2 kW and runs at 80 bar through an 8-inch pressure-vessel filtration system. A smooth start-up mechanism eases it up to working pressure. This larger filtration stage supports the 2000 l/h rate.
What feed does the concentrator need?
It requires a separate feed pump with a maximum operating pressure of 1,5 bar, and raw material at +10 to +20 C. Keeping feed cold protects juice aroma during concentration. Confirm the pump and chilling before running.
How is it moved and cleaned?
The unit is built on a mobile wheeled frame and weighs 300 kg, so it can be repositioned in the cellar. Cleaning uses a +50 C alkaline detergent through the system. The stainless steel build supports regular cleaning.
