      What is bottle-neck freezing used for?

      In traditional-method sparkling wine production the bottle neck is frozen so the sediment collected against the cap is trapped in a solid ice plug. The frozen plug can then be disgorged cleanly, removing the lees without losing much wine or pressure.

      How many bottles can it process and how fast?

      This unit freezes up to 10 bottle necks at once and reaches a productivity of about 60–70 bottles per hour. Choose the model by your hourly disgorging throughput so the freezer keeps pace with the rest of the line.

      How does the freezing system work?

      A semi-hermetic cooling unit circulates fluid at about -25 °C around the necks, while a rotating bottle holder gives each neck even contact for uniform freezing. An integrated control panel with a thermostat lets you hold the working temperature.

      What materials is it made of and how do I maintain it?
