What drinks is this pump suitable for?
GG EP-Junior is ideal for low viscosity liquids such as wine, juice, water, cider and clear beer. It is not intended for thick worts with large solids or high viscosity products - a positive displacement pump is recommended for these.
What is a bypass valve for?
The bypass valve allows a portion of the flow to be diverted back to the pump intake, reducing the actual output and giving precise control over the transfer rate. This is especially useful for gentle pumping and bottling.
Are all contact parts food safe?
Yes, all parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel, suitable for the food and beverage industry. The materials are easy to clean and resistant to the weak acids typical of wine and juice production.
What power is required?
The pump works with 400V three-phase power, rated power 0.56kW. A properly grounded industrial outlet is required. Please check your production facility's electrical system before installation.
How to clean the pump?
Rinse with clean water after each use and periodically circulate a suitable CIP cleaning solution at the recommended temperature. Always unplug the pump before cleaning or maintenance work.
