    Regulator for oxygen M12 thread

    Usage: Professional oxygen regulator for disposable O2 cylinders (M12 thread). Pure oxygen is the best way to get your yeast off to a cracking start. Simply use this high pressure and high capacity disposable tank to boost dissolved oxygen levels in your cooled wort. Oxygen is great for use with high gravity beers or pilsners where you are trying to build up a large population of yeast.

    Technical data: Thread: M12. Working pressure: 10-20 psi. For use with oxygen only.

    Instructions: Attach the regulator to the top of your disposable cylinder. Turn pressure up to 10-20 psi. Immerse diffusion stone in wort for 1-2 minutes. NOTE: Wort must be cold. It is extremely difficult to get oxygen to dissolve into hot wort so it's essential to cool wort completely before starting this process.

    ⚠️ Safety Information: Use for oxygen only. Do not use with flammable gases. Ensure proper ventilation when oxygenating. Keep away from heat sources and open flames. Store in cool, dry place away from children.

    Why is pure oxygen better than an aquarium pump for wort aeration?

    Pure oxygen dissolves far more effectively into cooled wort than air (which is only ~21% oxygen). This gives yeast a much stronger start, leading to faster and more complete fermentation. High gravity beers and lagers especially benefit from pure O2 as they demand more dissolved oxygen for healthy yeast metabolism.

    How should I use this regulator with a diffusion stone?

    Connect the regulator to a disposable M12-thread oxygen cylinder, attach a food-grade oxygen line to the outlet, and connect a stainless steel or sintered diffusion stone at the other end. Submerge the stone in your cooled wort and open the regulator to 10-20 psi. Oxygenate for 60-90 seconds for standard gravity worts, longer for high gravity.

    What types of oxygen cylinders does this regulator fit?

    This regulator is designed for disposable oxygen cylinders with an M12 thread connection. These are commonly available at hardware stores and welding suppliers. It will not fit large refillable industrial cylinders, which use different thread standards.

    How long does a disposable oxygen cylinder last for brewing?
