      It is a 50 cm clear-plastic sampler that draws a sample of beer, wine or other liquid from a vessel so you can test it without emptying the tank. The automatic filling system makes taking a sample quick and clean.

      Why is the transparent cylinder useful?

      Because it is crystal-clear you can judge the liquid's colour and clarity directly, and it is ideal for floating and reading a hydrometer in the drawn sample. The hydrometer itself is not included.

      How does the automatic system work?

      Lowering it into the liquid fills the cylinder and an automatic closing system holds the sample as you lift it out. That lets you take a representative sample from depth without spillage.

      How do I keep it clean?
