    • Pump 6W magnetic drive for BrewZilla Gen 3

Usage: This magnetic drive pump is the ideal pump used in RoboBrew Gen 3 and BrewZilla Gen 3.1 to 3.1.1 in both 35L and 65L models. Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 120°C, it can handle the boil directly without the need to cool before use. Extremely efficient at well under 1 amp, this pump can be run continuously at elevated temperatures. Putting pressure from restrictive flow will not hurt a magnetically driven pump—it is precisely what this pump is designed for.

Features: The input and output of the pump are 14mm OD, allowing you to connect silicon hose directly to the pump and secure with hose clamp. Not self-priming—it will need to be lower than the vessel and primed with liquid before it can push it around. Not submersible. Comes un-wired and ready to install into your own brewery or replace the RoboBrew/BrewZilla pump.

Technical data: Voltage: 220-240V at 50-60Hz. Max head: 2.1m (at 240V). Max flow: 12L/min (at 240V). Input and output size: 14mm OD (to suit hose with ID 11-13mm).

Warnings: This pump is not self-priming—it must be positioned lower than the vessel and primed with liquid before operation. It is not submersible. Do not run the pump dry for extended periods as it may impede future performance.

    • Frequently asked questions about this product

Which RoboBrew and BrewZilla models is this pump designed for?

This 6W magnetic drive pump is designed for RoboBrew Gen 3 and BrewZilla Gen 3.1 to Gen 3.1.1 in both 35L and 65L models. It serves as the internal recirculation pump mounted below the vessel. It is not compatible with Gen 4 or newer models, which use a different pump configuration.

Why is this pump not self-priming?

Magnetic drive pumps require liquid to be present in the pump head to create a seal between the impeller and the housing. This is why it must be positioned below the vessel — gravity keeps the pump head filled. Never run it dry, as this damages the magnetic coupling and internal bearings.

Can this pump handle boiling wort during the brew process?

Yes. Rated for temperatures up to 120°C, this pump can handle direct boiling wort recirculation without needing to cool the liquid first. This makes it suitable for whirlpool steps and hop stands at near-boiling temperatures.

      How energy-efficient is this pump?

Extremely efficient — it draws well under 1 amp during operation. This means minimal impact on your electrical circuit and very low running costs, even during extended brew sessions with continuous recirculation.

What should I do if the pump stops working?

First check for blockages — grain or hop debris can jam the impeller. If the pump hums but does not flow, the impeller may be stuck. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble. If the motor has failed, FERMETECH stocks both replacement pump heads and complete pump units.
