Description
Glycol chiller G20 JoinTech with 2 pumps digital control
Usage: The JoinTech Fermentation Glycol Chiller G20 is a compact multi-fermenter chilling solution designed for homebrewers. It features 2 individually controlled pumps allowing independent temperature control for two fermenters simultaneously. With 500-watt cooling power, it's powerful enough to chill well-insulated fermenters up to 200L or multiple smaller fermenters, even in hot ambient temperatures.
Features: The G20 comes with 2 integrated pumps and temperature controllers built-in, eliminating the need for additional wiring. The improved design includes push-in sight glass tubing with stabiliser bracket. Unlike thermoelectric units, this chiller uses compressor cooling which is 3-6 times more electrically efficient and significantly more powerful. It's compact, quiet, and ideal for domestic environments. The unit can be used to chill wort (after initial cooling to below 50°C), cool fermenters, and can even be set up with heating capability.
Technical data: Refrigerant: R600a isobutane. Cooling power: 500 watts (0.67hp) rated at 22°C. Power consumption: 155W. Tank capacity: 16.42L. Max head per pump: 5 meters. Max flow per pump: 600L/hr. Input/output fitting: Dry Break JoinTech 1/2" male fittings (requires dry break female JoinTechs for 13mm ID hosing). Dimensions: 510mm x 300mm x 460mm (L x W x H). For optimal performance, use with propylene glycol at approximately 30% concentration (20% for -8°C freezing point). Requires 100mm clearance around all air vents. Regular maintenance of dust around radiator required.
⚠️ Safety Information: Installation of any heating device must be performed by a trained electrician. Only use this unit to chill wort after initial cooling to below 50°C with water to avoid overloading the compressor. Ensure proper ventilation and regular maintenance.
⚠️ Important: Weight approximately 25kg — lifting equipment or 2 people required for installation.
⚡ Electrical Connection: Motor requires grounded 230V/50Hz socket (Schuko). Connection must comply with local electrical regulations. Do not clean motor with pressure washer or direct water spray.
