      Instructions for use:

      1. Melt the wax to approximately 80°C
      2. Briefly dip the bottle cork into the melted wax
      3. Let excess wax flow back into the container
      4. Wait until the wax completely cools and hardens

      Attention: Not suitable for sealing sparkling wine or champagne capsules. Ideal for sealing regular corks and as a capsule replacement.

      How is the sealing wax applied to a cork?

      Melt the wax to roughly 80 °C, briefly dip the sealed bottle's cork into it, then let the excess flow back into the container. Allow the wax to cool and harden fully before handling the bottle.

      Why is it not suitable for sparkling wine or champagne?

      Sparkling bottles use wired capsules and are under pressure, so a dipped wax seal is not the right closure for them. The wax is meant for sealing regular corks and can serve as a capsule replacement on still wine and spirits.

      How many bottles can one pack seal?

      With an average consumption of around 10 grams per bottle, the 460-gram pack covers a large number of bottles. Actual coverage depends on how deep you dip and how thick a layer you leave.

      Does the wax serve any purpose beyond decoration?

      It both finishes the bottle attractively and seals the cork, helping shield the closure from air and tampering. That makes it a traditional alternative where a capsule is not used.
