    How do I know whether I need an M-type or another coupler?

    The coupler type is set by the keg's valve fitting, not the beer brand. The M-type (also known as the Grundy coupling) is mainly used in Europe, particularly in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Always match the head to the keg valve rather than the label.

    How does the dispense head actually work?

    It attaches to the keg valve and links the gas and beverage lines. Pressurised CO2 or air enters through the head and pushes the beverage up the line, through the cooler and to the tap.
