Description
Vinoferm® pH Meter Blue Calibration Solution
The accurate pH meter blue calibration solution for Vinoferm® acidity meter ensures the precision and reliability of your measuring device. This solution is an essential tool for winemakers, juice producers, and food industry specialists.
What does pH indicate?
pH shows the concentration of hydrogen ions in liquid, measured on a scale of 1-14. It is an important indicator in determining the acidity or alkalinity of liquids:
- pH 7 - neutral (pure water pH level)
- pH below 7 - acidic environment
- pH above 7 - alkaline environment
Usage
The calibration solution helps ensure accurate measurement results of your Vinoferm® pH meter. Regular calibration is important for achieving quality measurement results when determining the acidity of wines, juices, and other liquids.

Frequently asked questions about this product
How often should I calibrate my pH meter with this solution?
Calibrate before each measuring session, or at least regularly, because the electrode gradually drifts and loses accuracy over time; frequent users benefit from calibrating daily.
Can the calibration solution be reused after the electrode has been dipped in it?
No. Pour out a small amount for each calibration and discard it afterwards, because the electrode introduces contamination that alters the buffer and skews later readings.
Why is the solution coloured blue?
Calibration buffers are colour-coded so different buffer values can be told apart at a glance; using the buffer that matches your meter's calibration step ensures a correct reference point.
How should the solution be stored?
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dark place and avoid contaminating it; an open or dirty bottle slowly loses its defined value and gives unreliable calibration.
