What kind of pressing is this dense filter sack made for?
It is built for screw presses, where the dense, pressure-resistant nylon withstands the squeezing force while holding back pulp. The weave gives a clearer juice from crushed fruit.
How should it be positioned in the press?
Line the press basket with the sack and fill it evenly with crushed fruit before pressing. Keeping the load even helps the press work fully and protects the sack from uneven strain.
Why choose a dense weave over an open one?
A dense weave traps finer pulp and seed fragments, so less sediment ends up in the juice. That means clearer juice and less work at later filtering stages.
How is the sack cleaned and stored?
Rinse it in warm water straight after pressing before pulp dries in, then let it dry fully before storage. Dry, undamaged storage keeps the nylon reusable for many pressings.
