Frequently asked questions about this product
How much kvass can one pack make and how is it dosed?
One 400 g pack makes roughly 6-12 litres of kvass; for example, dissolve about 100 g of concentrate in 3 litres of warm water at 35-40 °C.
What is the basic fermentation process?
After dissolving the concentrate, add sugar and fresh yeast, mix well, let it stand 18-20 hours at 25-30 °C, then separate the kvass from the sediment and cool it.
How should the concentrate be stored?
It keeps well at room temperature between 0 and 25 °C, so it does not need refrigeration before opening and is easy to keep on the shelf.
How much alcohol does the finished kvass contain?
The finished beverage has an alcohol content of up to 1.2 %, so it is a very low-alcohol drink rather than a beer-strength one.
