How does a water press extract juice?
Water pressure presses the crushed fruit against the basket wall and forces the juice out through the filter. Opening the water tap drives the pressing, so no motor or manual screwing is needed.
Why does the recommended water temperature matter?
The press is rated for water at about 8–20 °C and a maximum of 3 bar. Staying within these limits protects the bladder and seals and keeps pressing safe and consistent.
What role does the filter play during pressing?
A filter placed in the basket holds back pulp, skins and seeds so the juice comes out clearer. It also keeps the press basket cleaner and easier to empty.
How does the tilting frame make cleaning easier?
After pressing you tilt the basket to tip out the pomace and rinse it down. This makes emptying and cleaning faster and more comfortable than lifting a full basket.
