It is built for ROPP-type metal caps — roll-on pilfer-proof closures. Its four rollers form the thread directly onto the cap around the bottle neck and close the tamper-evident security ring in the same cycle.
Why does it use a two-button activation?
You place the cap on the bottle and start the cycle by pressing two buttons at once. This keeps both hands clear of the rolling head while it works, which is a built-in safety feature of the semi-automatic operation.
Can it close pre-threaded screw caps or crown caps?
No. This model is specifically for ROPP metal caps, where the thread is formed during capping. Pre-formed screw-on caps or press-on crown caps need a different type of capper.
