    How does a water press work?

    The water press uses water pressure to fill an internal rubber membrane in a stainless steel basket. The membrane expands and gently presses the crushed fruit against the perforated walls, allowing the juice to flow out. The working pressure is a maximum of 3.0 bar and the water temperature should be 8-20°C for optimal membrane operation.

    The 120L water press is ideal for apples, pears, grapes, berries (currants, cherries, raspberries) and other soft or pre-crushed fruits. For hard fruits such as apples, pre-crushing is recommended to maximize juice yield and reduce pressing time.

    With a basket volume of 120L and a productivity of up to 220 liters per hour, you can expect approximately 60-80 liters of juice per cycle, depending on the type of fruit, maturity and the quality of the previous crushing. Apples, when properly prepared, usually yield 65-75% juice by weight.

    How to clean and maintain a water press?

    After each use, remove the rubber membrane and rinse the stainless steel basket and frame with warm water. Use a food-safe detergent for thorough cleaning. Check the membrane for damage and keep it dry. The stainless steel construction is corrosion-resistant and hygienic.

    Does the press need electricity?

    No, the water press works only with water pressure - no electricity is needed. Simply connect the hose to a standard water tap and turn on the faucet to start squeezing. This makes it ideal for outdoor and remote locations.
