    What bottle neck does this cap fit?

    This screw cap is designed for BVS 30x60 bottle neck according to Cetie standard DIN EN 16293. It is the industry standard for still and slightly sparkling wine bottles. Make sure the bottles have the exact BVS 30H60 finish to ensure a perfect seal.

    How long can wine be stored under this cap?

    Under the recommended conditions (5–35°C, 30–80% humidity), the shelf life is up to 7 years. The ALKOvin™ Tin-Saran seal forms an oxygen barrier, reducing ingress to almost zero, making it suitable for premium long-term aging wines as well as everyday bottling.

    What is the recommended opening moment?

    The opening torque should be between 0.8 and 1.8 Nm. This ensures that the cap opens comfortably for the consumer while maintaining a tight, leak-proof seal during storage and transportation. Correct bottling machine setup is important to stay within this range.

    Is this cap suitable for sparkling wines?

    The cap can withstand a maximum pressure of 3 bar, which is why it is suitable for still wine and lightly foaming (pétillant) drinks. For fully sparkling wines, where the CO₂ pressure is higher, a special sparkling wine cap is recommended.

    How should the caps be stored before use?

    Store in original packaging at 5-35°C and 30-80% relative humidity, away from direct sunlight and strong odors. Keep sealed until use to protect seal from contamination. Each carton contains 1300 pcs, 25000 pcs on the base for industrial bottling lines.
