    • Equipped with Saranex 460 seal

    All caps comply with food safety requirements and are ideal for both home preserving and industrial production. After heat treatment, products should be stored at room temperature.

    What bottles are these caps suitable for?

    28x15mm aluminum caps are designed for standard 28mm neck bottles, widely used for juices, syrups, beverages and food products. Thanks to the EPE seal, they ensure a tight seal and airtight preservation for long-term storage.

    Can these caps withstand pasteurization?

    Yes. The EPE seal withstands 70°C for up to 2 hours and short-term up to 100°C for 15 minutes, making the caps suitable for typical pasteurization cycles. After heat treatment, the products must be cooled and stored at room temperature.

    Are the caps food safe?

    All our aluminum caps meet food safety requirements. Both the aluminum body and the EPE or Saranex 460 sealing materials are approved for direct contact with food and beverages, being safe for both home canning and industrial production.

    What is the difference between EPE and Saranex 460 gaskets?

    The standard EPE seal is suitable for working pressures up to 2.4 bar and most food applications. The Saranex 460 gasket can withstand higher working pressures up to 4 bar and offers better barrier properties, it is recommended for carbonated beverages and industrial production.

    How to store caps before use?

    Store unused caps in their original packaging in a dry and clean environment at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Proper storage maintains the integrity of the gasket material and ensures reliable closure.
