      Plug 8mm Duotight blind

      Usage: Professional push-in fittings for gas and liquid applications in brewing and beverage systems. Duotight fittings are designed for 8mm (5/16") hose connections with superior sealing capacity thanks to double EPDM o-ring design. Suitable for blocking unused ports on tees, elbows or fittings during gas leak testing or to plug unused sections.

      Features: Double o-ring sealing system provides twice the sealing surface compared to standard push-in fittings, significantly reducing leak risk. Allows tighter hose bending radius without leaking. No clamps required - simply push hose in until it stops. To remove, push collet and pull hose out. Cut hose straight (not angled) for optimal seal. Two food-grade EPDM o-rings per connection.

      Technical data: Maximum working pressure: 100 psi. Hose size: 8mm (5/16"). Material: EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) o-rings. EPDM properties: excellent chemical resistance (ozone, oils, alkaline/acid compounds, water, alcohol, ketones, beverages), superior aging/weather resistance, better gas transmission rates than silicone/vinyl, excellent wear resistance, BPA-free, food-grade approved.

      How do I install and remove this push-in plug correctly?

      Push the plug or hose in until it stops so the o-rings seal, and to remove it press the collet inward while pulling out. Cutting any mating hose straight rather than at an angle is important for an optimal seal.

      The two food-grade EPDM o-rings provide twice the sealing surface of a standard push-in fitting, significantly reducing leak risk in gas and liquid systems. This makes the plug well suited to sealing unused ports during gas leak testing.
