      How should this glycol be diluted before use?

      Dilute it with distilled or soft water. Avoid water rich in calcium and magnesium salts (hard water), because those salts can form sediment in the system over time.

      How do I choose the right glycol-to-water ratio?

      Set the ratio by the lowest temperature you need to protect against: roughly 20% glycol guards to about -9°C, 40% to about -22°C and 50% to about -32°C, with more glycol giving lower-temperature protection.

      Can it be used in both cooling and heating systems?

      Yes. The propylene glycol solution is formulated for both cooling and heating circuits in food-industry equipment, so the same product covers chilling and warm-side applications.
