KRET Rotary Root Grinder

This 250 kg (350 kg with additional weight) rotary root grinder is specifically designed for berry plantation renovation. KRET crushes roots and stumps up to 18 cm deep with a 650 mm wide cutting head, using a vertical rotor equipped with four fixed and four replaceable blades.

The machine attaches to the tractor via a 3-point linkage system (CAT 2) and requires at least 45 kW (60 hp) power to operate. The optimal working speed is 1-3.5 km/h, enabling productivity of 0.25-0.8 hectares per hour. Transport speed can reach up to 20 km/h.

KRET is ideal for renovating blackcurrant bushes, chokeberry, raspberry bushes, and other berry plantations after removing the above-ground parts of the bushes. With compact dimensions (working and transport width 1410 mm, length 1280 mm, height 1080 mm), the machine enables efficient work even in narrower plantations.

Machine durability is ensured by 6 mm thick boron-alloyed steel, known for its high hardenability, tensile strength, and impact resistance. This makes KRET particularly resistant to loads created when crushing stumps and roots. The product comes with a 12-month warranty.

Operating Principle

The rotary root grinder attaches to the tractor and moves slowly forward while working, crushing old stumps and roots directly in the soil with a vertically rotating rotor, making the soil immediately ready for planting new plants.
