Washer 3/4" silicone heat resistant
Usage: Quality food grade silicone washer for all your 3/4 Inch stainless brewery hardware. These washers are compatible with any 3/4 BSP plumbing hardware.
Features: The silicone rubber in these washers is high temperature suitable for temperatures up to 250°C and higher. This is made from food grade silicone and will not perish like some other rubber washers.

⚠️ Important: Different solutions (high alcohol content, essential oils, solvents) may damage rubber and silicone components. Ensure the seal material is compatible with the liquid being used.

Frequently asked questions about this product
What does the high temperature rating mean in practice?
The food-grade silicone is rated up to 250 °C and beyond, so unlike many ordinary rubber washers it can handle hot liquid lines, hot-water or steam cleaning and pasteurising or boiling steps without hardening or perishing.
When should I choose silicone instead of a stainless or fibre washer?
Choose silicone when you need a soft, compressible seal that conforms to the mating face, especially on 3/4 inch BSP brewery joints that are opened and re-sealed often and where heat resistance matters. A rigid metal washer cannot form that soft seal.
Are there liquids that can damage it?
Yes. The supplier warns that high-alcohol liquids, essential oils and solvents can attack rubber and silicone. Check that your product is compatible before prolonged contact, and inspect the washer if you run aggressive solutions through the line.
How do I know it will fit?
It is sized for 3/4 inch BSP hardware at 23.5 mm inner diameter, 39 mm outer diameter and 3.25 mm thick and fits any 3/4 BSP plumbing hardware. Confirm your fitting is 3/4 inch BSP before installing.
