Description
Buffer solution 3-pack (4.00 / 6.86 / 9.18 pH)
Usage: Professional pH buffer solution set for calibrating pH meters in brewing, winemaking, and food production. Essential for maintaining measurement accuracy.
Features: Three-pack buffer solution set with pH values 4.00, 6.86, and 9.18. Each pack makes 250mL of calibration solution. Accuracy: ±0.01pH.
Technical data: Pack contains three buffer powders (pH 4.00 / pH 6.86 / pH 9.18). Volume per pack: 250mL when dissolved. Accuracy: ±0.01pH.
Directions for use:
- Empty powder completely into a clean 250mL glass beaker
- Add 250mL of deionized water to the beaker
- Stir until powder has completely dissolved
- Recommended: Calibrate before each use, especially if meter hasn't been used recently

Frequently asked questions about this product
Why are there three different buffer values instead of one?
Calibrating at several points (pH 4.00, 6.86 and 9.18) lets the meter map its response across the acidic, neutral and alkaline range, so readings stay accurate wherever your sample falls, not just near one value.
How often should I recalibrate my pH meter?
Calibrate regularly, because electrodes drift over time and with use. Frequent calibration against fresh buffer is what keeps the stated accuracy of plus or minus 0.01 pH meaningful.
How do I prepare each buffer?
Empty a powder sachet completely into a clean beaker and dissolve it in 250 mL of deionised water. Tap water minerals would shift the pH and ruin the reference value.
Can I reuse buffer after calibrating in it?
No. Do not pour used buffer back into a stored batch, because dipping the electrode contaminates it slightly. Calibrate in a poured-off portion and discard it to keep the reference accurate.
