      Ball valve 1/4" NPT x MFL threaded with check valve

      Usage: These ball valves include a built-in check valve to not only protect your regulator but also prevent gas or beer migrating from one keg to another.

      Features: The manifolds we sell all come standard with 2, 4 or 6 outputs. These can be converted to 3, 5, or 7 outputs by simply unscrewing the 1/4 inch plug from the end of the manifold and inserting one of these 1/4 inch ball valves.

      Technical data: 1/4 Inch NPT x MFL Thread.

      Please note, we recommend using teflon plumbers tape when screwing these into any manifold.

    • Frequently asked questions about this product

      What is the benefit of the built-in check valve?

      It allows gas to travel only toward the keg, blocking back-flow of beer or gas into the line. That protects the regulator and stops contents migrating between kegs that share a gas manifold.

      What does the MFL connection mean for me?

      This version ends in an MFL (male flare) thread instead of a barb, so it mates with a matching flare swivel nut rather than pushing onto hose. Choose MFL when your gas line already uses threaded flare disconnects.

      How do I seal each end?

      Use PTFE tape on the tapered 1/4-inch NPT end, but do not tape the MFL flare. The flare seals by metal-to-flare contact, so just tighten the flare nut firmly.

      Why fit one per keg on a manifold?

      A non-return valve on each branch keeps a problem at one keg, such as over-pressure or backflow, from reaching the other kegs or the regulator.
