      Instructions: Clarification takes place after the end of fermentation. First, remove carbon dioxide from the mixture by stirring the solution. Then add sachet A, stir gently, and leave to stand for two hours. After that, add sachet B, stir gently again, and leave to clarify for 24 hours. At the end of the clarification process, you will see how the sediment has concentrated at the bottom of the container and the liquid has become clear.

      How long does the clarification process take?

      The whole process takes about 26 hours: after adding bag A, the mash stands for 2 hours, then bag B is added and the liquid is left to settle for 24 hours. After this time, the sediment is completely at the bottom of the vessel and the liquid is clear and ready for bottling or distillation.

      Can I use SUPERKLAR 24h for red wines?

      SUPERKLAR 24h is intended primarily for sugar and grain wines and complex white wines. We recommend special clarifiers for red wines, as SUPERKLAR can react differently with the tannins and coloring compounds of red wines.

      Is SUPERKLAR 24h suitable for a distillation mash?

      Yes. SUPERKLAR 24h is perfect for clarifying the mash of sugar and fruit spirits before distillation. A clear mash means less sediment in the still, less risk of burning and a cleaner distillate with no off-flavors.

      Do I need to remove the CO₂ before clarifying?

      Yes. CO₂ bubbles lift particles upwards and prevent proper settling. Stir the mash thoroughly before adding sachet A to release the dissolved carbon dioxide — otherwise the clarifying agent will not work effectively.

      Does SUPERKLAR 24h affect the taste of the final product?

      No, this fixes it. By removing yeast sediments and suspended impurities, the clarifier eliminates off-flavors and gives the finished spirit, wine, cider or mead a cleaner and clearer taste and aroma.
