  • Frequently asked questions about this product

    Will the pump deliver its rated flow with thick or pulpy liquids?

    The rated flow is measured with water (1 cP). With more viscous products the real output is lower — up to about 40% less at 1000 cP — so size the pump with your actual product viscosity in mind, not just the headline figure.

    Can the pump start dry and lift liquid from below its own level?

    Yes. It is self-priming and can start dry, drawing liquid from a suction depth of up to 6 m, which is useful for emptying tanks or pits located below the pump.

    Why does it matter that the pump is fully reversible?

    Running in both directions lets you push product forward or pull a line back to recover or empty it, adding flexibility during transfer, filling and cleaning operations.

    Is the pump suitable for hot liquids and food contact?

    It is rated for products up to 95 °C and is CE/FDA food-contact approved with an EPDM impeller, with an NBR seal working in the pH 5-9 range, making it appropriate for tasks such as pasteurisation and food-industry transfer.
