Which regulators does this washer fit?
It is designed for the full MK regulator range — MKI, MKII, MKIII and MKIV — so one washer type covers all four models.
Do I still need thread-seal (plumber's) tape with it?
No. The nylon washer forms a complete seal on its own; you simply screw the regulator in tightly and the washer gives a leak-proof connection without any additional tape.
How do I install it correctly?
Place the washer on the regulator's threaded connection and tighten the regulator firmly so the nylon compresses against the mating face — that compression is what creates the seal.
When should the washer be replaced?
Replace it whenever you disconnect the regulator and find the washer deformed, cracked or no longer sealing, since a once-compressed sealing washer may not reseal reliably after removal.
