    In what order do the crusher and press work together?

    First the crusher breaks the fruit into pulp, then that pulp is loaded into the press bag and the air-pressure system squeezes out the juice; crushing first raises juice yield markedly compared with pressing whole fruit.

    Why choose a pneumatic (air) press over a hydraulic or screw press?

    The air membrane presses gently and evenly without needing a water supply, which keeps the working area dry and clean and reduces the risk of bitter notes from over-crushing pips.

    How do the two different crusher grates affect the result?

    The coarser grate leaves a chunkier pulp that drains fast and presses cleanly, while the finer grate ruptures more cells for higher yield from firm fruit; match the grate to how soft or hard the fruit is.

    How should the rubber pressing membrane be cared for?

    Rinse it with clean water after every session, never press hard stones or stems that can puncture it, and store it dry and out of direct sunlight so the rubber does not perish.
