    How do I know this gasket will fit my fitting?

    It is manufactured to the DIN 11851 standard in the 20 mm size, so it fits DIN 11851 couplings of the same nominal size. Always match both the standard and the size — a DIN gasket will not seat correctly in an SMS or other type of fitting.

    When should I choose an NBR gasket instead of another rubber?

    NBR (nitrile rubber) copes well with fats, oils and many food liquids. If your line relies on hot steam or aggressive alkaline cleaning, an EPDM gasket is often the better choice. Pick the elastomer that suits your media and cleaning routine.

    How often should the gasket be checked or replaced?
