Ball-type airlock for professional fermentation
The professional ball-type airlock is designed for large-scale fermentation processes, ensuring precise and safe air regulation. This universal solution works as a two-way protection - preventing both overpressure and vacuum formation in the container.
Compared to conventional water airlocks, the ball-type airlock remains always operational and doesn't dry out. The device allows controlled sample extraction during the fermentation process when needed, automatically regulating the internal pressure of the container.

How does a ball-type airlock differ from a traditional water airlock?
Unlike a water airlock, the ball-type version never dries out and stays operational, so you do not need to top up water during long fermentations.
What does the two-way protection actually mean?
It releases excess pressure when gas builds up and also prevents a vacuum forming as the tank cools or empties, protecting the vessel in both directions.
Does it need regular maintenance during fermentation?
It is a maintenance-free solution that automatically regulates internal pressure and adapts to volume fluctuations of up to about plus or minus 10%.
