Which vessels does it fit, and what else do I need?
The cylindrical mini airlock suits both plastic and stainless steel fermentation vessels and attaches to the vessel lid. Note that it requires the correct gasket to seal, and that gasket is sold separately.
How do I install it correctly?
Fit the matching gasket first so the airlock seats airtight in the lid, then add water to the airlock to form the gas seal. Without the proper gasket the seal will leak and air can reach the ferment.
How do I keep it working well?
It is durable and long-lasting and is easy to clean and reuse between batches. Check the water level during a long ferment and rinse the airlock and gasket so they stay clean and sealing properly.
