FineCap Tin-Saran is a non-threaded aluminium capsule for bottling wines and beverages. The ALKOvin™ tin liner forms precisely around the bottle aperture, reducing oxygen ingress to zero and providing excellent long-term aroma protection for up to 7 years.

Usage
Use only new glass. Fill level: 2% headspace at 20°C. Keep bottles upright for 30 minutes after filling. Check leak tightness before every bottling run.

How long can wine be stored with this capsule?
ALKOvin™ Tin-Saran seal reduces oxygen intrusion to virtually zero, allowing storage for up to 7 years under proper conditions (5-35°C, 30-80% humidity). It is the preferred choice for premium and reserve wines where long-term aroma protection is critical.
Is this capsule suitable for sparkling wines?
The capsule can withstand a maximum pressure of 3 bar, which is suitable for semi-sparkling wines (frizzante). For full sparkling wines above 3 bar, we recommend a special mushroom cap-wire basket system. Always check bottle mouth compatibility and tightness before bottling.
Can the capsule be customized with logos?
Yes. Overprinting up to 8 colors, side silk printing up to 4 colors, and heat printing and embossing options are available. Minimum order quantities apply to custom designs. Contact FERMETECH for design specifications and lead time.
What bottle types is it compatible with?
Nominal dimensions A1 29.75mm / A2 29.29mm fit the mouth of a standard table wine bottle. Use only new glass — recycled bottles may have deviations in the bottle mouth that compromise the seal. Always check fit and tightness on the production line before each bottling batch.
How to handle bottles after encapsulation?
After filling and capping, keep the bottles upright for at least 30 minutes to allow the tin seal to fully form around the bottle mouth. The fill level should leave 2% air space at 20°C. Storage conditions: 5-35°C, 30-80% relative humidity.
