What bottles does this capsule fit?
The capsule is suitable for non-threaded bottle mouths with an outer diameter of 30mm. It is designed for bottles of still wines, sparkling wines and spirits. The deep-stretch aluminum folds smoothly around the bottle neck after application and gives a clean, professional finish.
How does Tin-Saran sealing improve storage?
ALKOvin™ Tin-Saran Sealing is a multi-layer barrier with a tin-saran coating on a foam core that reduces oxygen ingress to virtually zero. It preserves the wine's aroma, color and structure during long-term aging for up to 7 years under proper storage conditions.
What is the maximum pressure tolerance?
The capsule can withstand an internal pressure of up to 3 bar, which makes it suitable for slightly sparkling and semi-sparkling wines in addition to still wines. A special sparkling wine stopper is recommended for fully sparkling wines with higher pressure.
What storage conditions are required?
Capsules should be stored in their original packaging at a temperature of 5-35°C and a relative humidity of 30-80%, away from direct sunlight and strong odors. Under these conditions, the shelf life is up to 7 years. Avoid contact with moisture and dust before application.
How many bottles can be sealed in one package?
One package contains 1250 capsules, which is enough to seal 1250 bottles. This corresponds to the usual base calculations for small and medium-sized wineries. Capsules are applied by hand, semi-automatic or automatic capsule spinner depending on the production volume.
