Ball valve 1/2" with 13mm barb stainless steel
Usage: Professional ball valve designed for attaching silicone hosing to brewing equipment. Pre-assembled with barb attachment to save installation time.
Features: Made from AISI 304 stainless steel with rubber-covered handle. Includes 1/2" stainless steel nut and silicone washer for secure sealing. The silicone washer should be placed on the outside of the vessel with the nut on the opposite side to lock into place.
Technical data: Material: AISI 304 stainless steel. Connection: 1/2" thread to 13mm barb. Note: Teflon tape may be required depending on hole drilling precision.

What does the pre-assembled barb let me connect?
It lets you attach silicone hose directly to the valve via the 13 mm barb, and being pre-assembled it saves installation time.
How should the included silicone washer and nut be fitted?
Place the silicone washer on the outside of the vessel and the nut on the opposite side, then tighten to lock it in place and seal.
Might I need Teflon tape?
Yes — depending on how precisely the mounting hole is drilled, Teflon tape may be needed to ensure a leak-free thread seal.
Is the handle comfortable for frequent use?
The handle is rubber-covered for comfortable operation, while the valve body is AISI 304 stainless steel.
