Frequently asked questions about this product
What does the 3-vessel 400L BrewZilla include out of the box?
It is a complete 3-vessel system (HLT, mash tun and boiler) supplied with pumps, a plate chiller, controllers and internal plumbing. So you receive a working 400 L brewhouse rather than parts to source separately. The cone-shaped tanks are built for full drainage and CIP cleaning.
What power supply does the 400 L brewery need?
The system draws 68 kW excluding the optional RIMS, so it needs a suitable three-phase installation. The optional RIMS heater adds a further 5 kW. Plan the electrical connection around these figures before delivery.
How does the design make cleaning between brews easier?
The cone-shaped tanks drain fully and support CIP cleaning, the mash tun door empties spent grain straight into a wheelbarrow or bin, and the plate chiller can be disassembled for thorough cleaning. The high chemically resistant pump handles strong cleaning chemicals as well as boiling wort. Together these speed up turnaround between batches.
What does the optional RIMS heater do?
The 6 kW RIMS heater (sold separately) maintains or raises the mash temperature and reduces heat-up times for tighter step-mash control. It suits brewers who want precise, repeatable mash schedules. Without it the system still brews using the standard low-watt-density elements.
What is the lead time and deposit for this brewery?
The lead time is 10 to 14 weeks, with a 20% deposit required (excluding freight). This is because the brewhouse is built to order rather than held in stock. Factor that timeline into your launch or expansion plans.
