What is the cooling plate used for?
The plate is designed for precise regulation of the fermentation temperature in wine, beer or food industry tanks. It is immersed vertically in the liquid and connected to an external cooler, which allows the coolant to circulate through a double channel and remove heat directly from the product.
What material is the plate made of?
The standard version is made of AISI 304 stainless steel with an electropolished finish that ensures optimal hygiene and corrosion resistance. An AISI 316 version is available on order for more demanding applications, such as when using aggressive cleaning agents.
How is the board connected to the cooler?
The plate has two 1/2" threaded connections - one for coolant inlet and one for outlet. Standard hoses or rigid tubing can be used to connect to a suitable cooler or glycol circuit.
Can it be installed in existing tanks?
Yes. The plate is designed for vertical diving and can be installed in open top or hatch tanks without modifications. Well suited for tanks that do not originally have a cooling jacket.
