Italian Herbs for Vermouth 10g
Italian herbs for vermouth 10g, sufficient for about 10L of wine aromatization
Usage Methods
Herbs can be added in several ways:
- They can be added directly to the fermenting wine and strained with the first batch of wine from the lees.
- They can be added directly to the finished wine for 3-7 days. During this time, the wine's taste should be monitored. When the aroma is satisfactory, the herbs should be drained using filter bags. The longer the herbs remain in the wine, the stronger the taste of Vermouth will be.
- You can prepare an essence from herbs. To do this, add the entire contents of a sachet of herbs to a 0.5l bottle of ready wine and leave for 5-7 days, then filter. The ready essence is slowly added to the wine that you want to aromatize.
