What is the membrane made of?
The membrane is made of natural rubber, a food-safe material chosen for its excellent elasticity, durability and pressure resistance. Safe for contact with fruit pulp and juice.
Is this membrane suitable for all 80L hydraulic presses?
The membrane is designed for standard 80 liter hydraulic presses. However, models vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. We recommend that you check the dimensions and fittings with your existing membrane before ordering.
How to install a replacement membrane?
Remove the old membrane from the press basket, clean the inside thoroughly and place the new membrane evenly in place. Confirm according to the hydraulic press manufacturer's instructions before testing.
How to clean and maintain the membrane?
Rinse with clean water after each use, avoid aggressive chemicals. Allow to dry completely and store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and ozone sources to prevent premature aging of the rubber.
How long does a natural rubber membrane last?
With proper care, the natural rubber membrane will last for several seasons. The service life depends on the frequency of use, cleaning and storage conditions. Check regularly for cracks or deformation before each pressing season.
