What kegs does this O-ring fit?
This O-ring is designed for 19L and 9.5L Corny Kegs with both Ball Lock and Pin Lock lid systems. It fits into the grooves of standard Corny Keg lids and provides an airtight seal when installed correctly.
What makes Low2 technology special?
Low2 technology uses a special rubber compound that significantly reduces oxygen permeability compared to standard EPDM or silicone rings. This is critical for preserving hop aromas and preventing oxidation in packaged beer, especially NEIPA and Pilsner styles.
How often should the O-ring be changed?
Replace the O-ring whenever you notice visible wear, deformation or loss of elasticity. In normal use, the Low2 O-ring will last several cleaning cycles, but we recommend checking before each fill and replacing at least once a year in commercial use.
How to clean the O-ring?
Clean with warm water and alkaline dishwashing liquid, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid solvents, strong acids and essential oil solutions that can damage the rubber. Before installation, lightly grease with food-safe keg grease for optimal sealing.
Is the O-ring food safe?
Yes, the Low2 O-ring is made of food-safe materials suitable for direct contact with beer, cider and similar beverages. However, it is not recommended for high-alcohol spirits, essential oils or aggressive solvents.
