Seal kit for ball-lock keg Low2
Usage: If you have purchased second-hand kegs, or simply want a few spare seals for your corny kegs, this is the simple seal kit that you need.
Features: Seal Kit for Cornelius Type Kegs with Low2 Yellow O-Ring - Ball Lock or Pin Lock Kegs
Includes:
- 1 x KL03063 Low2 Hatch/Lid O-Ring (Yellow)
- 2 x KL03094 Corny Keg Post O-Ring
- 2 x KL03100 Corny Keg Dip Tube O-Ring
What is Low2?
Low2 O-Rings are the new golden yellow standard of homebrew kegs brought to you by KegLand Australia. Because of their unique composition (Synthetic M-Class and Cross-Linked Elastomers), they have superior oxygen barrier properties than that of the previous O-Rings (Silicone). This results in your beverage staying fresher for longer.
⚠️ Important: Different solutions (high alcohol content, essential oils, solvents) may damage rubber and silicone parts. Ensure seal material compatibility with the liquid being used.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Which seals are in this kit and where do they go?
It contains the full set for one corny keg: one lid (hatch) O-ring, two keg-post O-rings and two dip-tube O-rings, the points where a Cornelius-type keg most often leaks.
What makes the Low2 yellow O-rings different?
Low2 O-rings use a synthetic M-class, cross-linked elastomer formulation, and the yellow colour identifies them. They are the newer keg-seal standard from KegLand, distinct from ordinary black keg O-rings.
Does this kit fit both ball-lock and pin-lock kegs?
Yes. The seal set suits Cornelius-type kegs in both ball-lock and pin-lock styles, which is why it is handy for second-hand kegs of mixed origin.
When should I replace keg O-rings?
Replace them when a keg will not hold pressure, when seals look flattened, hardened or nicked, or simply keep them as spares for second-hand kegs. Fresh O-rings are the simplest fix for slow gas or beer leaks.
