Frequently asked questions about ABP0163
How much beer can be brewed in a 200L pot?
A 200L pot allows you to brew about 150-170 liters of finished beer in one batch, taking into account malt absorption, evaporation and trub losses. It's a great size for small craft breweries, taprooms, or serious homebrewers looking to grow production while maintaining full control over the mashing and brewing process.
Is AISI 304 stainless steel food safe?
Yes, AISI 304 (18/10) stainless steel is a standard material for the food and beverage industry. It is corrosion resistant, does not react with wort or acidic liquids and fully complies with EU food contact regulations. The polished surface is easy to clean and disinfect, ensuring a neutral taste and a long life.
Can the pot be used on an induction stove?
No, this pot is not suitable for induction cookers. It is designed for use with a gas burner or electric heater. Induction heating requires a vessel with a magnetic base. We recommend using this pot with a professional gas burner for efficient heat transfer during mashing and cooking.
What is included in the potty set?
The pot comes complete with a lid with a stainless steel button, strong side handles, a professional analog thermometer, a 1" stainless steel ball valve on an 18mm hose, a threaded bushing for secure installation of the faucet, and a special thermometer sensor input. No additional accessories are needed to start brewing.
How to clean and maintain the pot?
Rinse with warm water after each use and clean with a non-abrasive detergent suitable for stainless steel. Avoid chlorine-based cleaners, which can damage the surface. Turn on the faucet periodically for thorough disinfection. Keep in a dry and clean environment. With proper maintenance, an AISI 304 pot will last for decades.
