What tractor is needed to pull and run the OSKAR A01?
The harvester is trailed and needs a tractor of at least 52 kW (70 hp) to pull it and drive its hydraulics at working speed. Make sure your tractor's hydraulic output and hitch match before the season. An underpowered tractor will struggle on the 0.8–2 km/h harvesting passes.
Which berry crops can this single machine harvest?
The A01 is built for a wide range of bush and cane fruit: black and red currants, chokeberries, gooseberries, haskap, fall-bearing raspberries, saskatoon berries and rose hips. The adjustable fans and conveyors let you tune the machine to each crop's fruit and bush size. This versatility suits mixed plantations.
Why is the adjustable 2880–4600 mm working width important?
The width adjusts so the picking head fits different row spacings and bush sizes across your plantation. Matching the width to the row keeps the 95–99 % harvesting accuracy and reduces fruit left behind or damaged. Set it per block before starting each row type.
What plantation size makes this harvester worthwhile?
As a full-row trailed harvester it is intended for commercial plantations above roughly 10 hectares, where its 0.3–0.5 ha per hour replaces large hand-picking crews. Below that scale the investment is harder to justify. For big areas it shortens the harvest window and cuts labour sharply.
