GACEK tree shaker is specially designed for efficient harvesting of sour cherries, plums, hazelnuts and almonds. The device was developed by Poland's leading horticultural institute JAGODA JPS in Skierniewice (patent number P-386556).

Which trees is the GACEK shaker designed for?
It is specially designed for harvesting sour cherries, plums, hazelnuts and almonds. A tree-friendly shaking head with adjustable force shakes the fruit loose. So one machine covers several stone-fruit and nut crops.
What harvest capacity and plantation size does it suit?
It works at 50-60 trees per hour and suits plantations up to 5 hectares, with harvesting accuracy up to 95%. The inverted umbrella folds automatically to catch the fruit. Optimal operation needs 2-3 operators.
What tractor and hydraulics does it need?
It mounts on a 3-point tractor hitch and requires a minimum of 30 hp and at least 25 l/min of hydraulic flow. The tractor supplies both movement and the shaking and umbrella hydraulics. Confirm your tractor meets these before purchase.
What tree and row spacing does it require?
It needs a minimum row spacing of 4 m and tree spacing of 2,2 m in the row, with trunk diameters of 50-220 mm. Collection height should be at least 0,7 m. Check your orchard layout fits these limits.
How is the harvested fruit collected?
Fruit can be collected into large pallet boxes (1200x1000x760 mm) or smaller crates (600x400x150 mm). The automatic inverted umbrella catches and channels the fruit during shaking. This keeps fruit clean off the ground.
