What berries can be harvested with JAREK 5?
JAREK 5 is designed for harvesting black and red currants, gooseberries, autumn raspberries, saskaton, rose hips, chokeberry and haskap berries. Three exchangeable shaking heads (ARONIC, 920, BOS) ensure optimal results for different berry crops.
What kind of tractor is needed to operate the JAREK 5?
The minimum required tractor power is 22 kW. The machine connects to standard hydraulic and electrical interfaces. Electric valve control is recommended for controlling additional functions from the cab.
How accurate is the harvest and what are the berry damages?
JAREK 5 achieves harvesting accuracy of up to 99% and berry damage below 1% thanks to seven advanced shaking elements and an adjustable shaking system. The working efficiency is 0.1-0.2 ha/h depending on the culture and field conditions.
Is the machine suitable for plantations on slopes?
Yes. For smaller side slopes (1°-2°) limiters are recommended, for steeper ones (3°-12°) hydraulic screeds and a tilt correction system, which ensure stable operation even on uneven terrain.
