Usage: This Pressure Pack features a unique floating racking tube that can be used for taking samples, keg transfers, or serving finished beer. This innovative feature draws beer from the top down, which means you're always pulling the clearest, most sediment-free beer possible. Using pressure to draw a sample from the floating dip tube will also eliminate the tiny bit of oxygen that would be injected into your beer every time the traditional sample valve is opened.
Features: Pressure transferring from fermenter to keg is the best way to protect your beer from oxygen when it's at its most vulnerable state. Kegging could be considered the final hurdle in the brewing process, where limiting oxygen exposure is critical. This could mean the difference between your beer tasting great for months or tasting great for a week. Installs on the 4 Inch Tri-Clover port welded into the lid of the BrewBuilt X1 Uni Conical. The 1.5 Inch Tri-Clover port on the pressure lid can be used for adding dry hops or attaching a Tri-Clover pressure relief valve during pressure fermentations. The welded hook underneath the pressure lid can be used to hang bagged hops or other additions.

Warnings: Tip: Unscented floss is perfectly fine to use. If you are dry hopping or experimenting with fruits in your ferment, we highly recommend using the dip tube hop filter attachment.

What is a floating siphon tube used for?
A floating siphon tube draws beer from the top of the liquid column, not the bottom. This means that the sample to be taken or the beer to be transferred is the clearest and free of yeast or sediment residues that settle to the bottom of the keg. Perfect for sampling, transferring into kegs and serving under pressure.
What scissors is it compatible with?
The pressure pack is designed to fit the 4" Tri-Clover port welded to the lid of the BrewBuilt X1 Uni Conical. Other canisters with a matching 4" Tri-Clover port and sufficient pressure tolerance can also be used. Please note that the 4" Tri-Clover clamp and double-sided profile seal are not included.
