What does "roll-on pilfer-proof" mean?
The aluminium cap is supplied non-threaded and is rolled (formed) onto the bottle thread during capping, leaving a tamper-evident band that shows if the bottle has been opened.
Can it withstand hot filling or pasteurisation?
Yes. The EPE liner tolerates hot filling at 70°C for up to 2 hours, or at 100°C for up to 15 minutes.
Do I need special equipment to apply it?
Yes. Because the cap is non-threaded as supplied, it is formed onto the neck with a capping head, and an adapter matches it to the bottle neck.
Can the cap be customised?
Yes: single- or multi-colour printing, UV printing, top embossing and side printing are available.
