Does this kit fit all Ball Lock kegs?
Yes, the kit is designed for standard Cornelius Ball Lock kegs, which have a common specification with most manufacturers. Before ordering, make sure your keg uses the Ball Lock (no pins) connection system and not the Pin Lock variant.
How often should I change the seals?
Change intervals depend on the frequency of use and the drinks stored. For regular homebrewing, we recommend replacing O-rings and valves every 1-2 years, or as soon as you notice leaks, pressure drops, or off-flavors in the finished product.
Are the seals food safe?
Yes, all O-rings and gaskets in this kit are made of food-safe EPDM or silicone rubber that meets standard food contact requirements. They are safe to use with beer, cider, kombucha and other non-aggressive beverages.
Can I use the kit with high alcohol liquids or essential oils?
Conventional rubber and silicone seals can break down under the influence of high concentrations of alcohol, essential oils or solvents. Such applications require special chemical-resistant seals. Always check fit before use.
Do you need any tools to install the gaskets?
A keg post wrench (7/8" chuck) is required to remove and reinstall gas and liquid posts. O-rings can be replaced by hand. We recommend applying food-safe keg grease to new seals before assembly for easier installation and longer service life.
