Ball valve 8mm Duotight with quick connector

Usage: Professional push-in fitting with double O-ring sealing system for secure connections in beverage and brewing applications. Compatible with EVABarrier 8mm (5/16") double-walled tubing. No clamps required.

Features: Duotight fittings feature superior sealing performance with two high-quality EPDM O-rings per connection - double the sealing surface compared to standard push-in fittings. The dual O-ring system allows tighter hose bending radius without leaks. Equal ball valve design accepts 8mm OD tubing on both sides. To remove: push in collet and pull hose out. Cut hose straight (not angled) for complete seal.

Technical data: Maximum working pressure: 100 psi. O-ring material: EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) - excellent chemical resistance to ozone, oils, alkaline and acid compounds, water, alcohol, ketones and beverages. Superior gas transmission rates, wear resistance, BPA-free. Connection: 8mm (5/16") push-in both sides.

How do I connect and disconnect the tubing?

Push the straight-cut hose into the collet until it seats; to release, push the collet in and pull the hose out — no clamps or tools are needed.

Why does it use two O-rings per connection?

The dual EPDM O-ring system doubles the sealing surface compared with a standard push-in fitting, preventing leaks and allowing a tighter hose bend without losing the seal.

What is the maximum working pressure?

It is rated to 100 psi, and the EPDM seals give good chemical resistance to alcohol, acids, alkalis and beverages.
