Usage: Professional push-in fitting for secure connections in home brewing, winemaking, and beverage systems. Designed for 8mm OD EVABarrier tubing with 5/8" BSP threaded connection for keg couplers, tap shanks, and other standard homebrew fittings.
Features: Duotight fittings feature a superior double O-ring sealing system using EPDM rubber, providing twice the sealing surface of standard push-in fittings. This dual O-ring design significantly reduces leak potential and allows for tighter hose bending radius without compromising seal integrity. Compatible with EVABarrier 4mm ID x 8mm OD and 5mm ID x 8mm OD line. No hose clamps required. Simply push in the collet to remove hose.
Technical data: Thread: 5/8" BSP male. Hose connection: 8mm push-in for EVABarrier line. Material: High-grade engineering polymer with dual EPDM O-rings. Maximum pressure: 100 psi. O-ring material: EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) - excellent chemical resistance, compatible with ozone, oils, alkaline and acid compounds, water, alcohol, ketones and beverages. BPA-free. Design revision: 1.10.
Important: Not compatible with 6mm ID x 10mm OD line. Cut hosing straight (not at an angle) for complete seal. Suitable for both gas and liquid applications.

What advantage does the double O-ring design give over a single push-fit fitting?
Two EPDM O-rings provide twice the sealing surface of a standard push-in fitting, which significantly reduces leak potential and lets you bend the hose more tightly without breaking the seal — useful in cramped beverage setups.
Which tubing is this fitting designed for?
It is made for 8mm OD EVABarrier line (4mm or 5mm inner diameter) with a 5/8" threaded connection. Using tubing of a different outer diameter will not seal reliably, so match the hose to the fitting.
How do I disconnect the hose without damaging the fitting?
Push the collet inward toward the body while pulling the hose out. Never yank the hose without first depressing the collet, as that stresses the O-rings and can cause future leaks.
Does it require hose clamps?
No. The push-in collet design seals on its own without clamps or tools, which simplifies assembly and makes the fitting easy to reuse when reconfiguring a system.
