Installation and Use:
For optimal pump operation, fill the working element with liquid before starting. The pump will then work in self-priming mode. The device is not suitable for pumping strong alcohol or chemically aggressive liquids (sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide).

What is the maximum productivity of the Novax 30M pump?
The Novax 30M pumps up to 5000 l/h (83 l/min) at an engine speed of 1450 rpm. This productivity is very suitable for small and medium-sized wineries, craft breweries and cider producers who want to pump batches quickly and sustainably.
Is the pump self-priming?
Yes. Before starting, the working chamber (pump body) must be filled with liquid. Once the pump is started in this way, the Novax 30M continues to operate in self-priming mode and can also draw fluid from tanks located below the pump.
Can the pump be used with strong alcohol or cleaning agents?
No. The pump is designed for non-aggressive food liquids such as wine, beer, cider and wort. It must not be used to pump strong spirits, sodium hydroxide (NaOH), hydrogen peroxide or other chemically aggressive solutions, as they may damage the seals and impeller.
What is the maximum operating temperature?
The maximum operating temperature is +35 °C. For hotter fluids, the high-temperature version of the Novax pump should be selected to avoid damage to the pump's internals.
What diameter hose should be used?
The pump has a 30 mm hose connection at both the inlet and outlet. We recommend the use of food grade reinforced hoses with an internal diameter of 30 mm with suitable clamps to ensure a leak-proof and hygienic transfer.
